I was fortunate to see them at the Boston Garden last November. Amazing show. These guys have not aged. I’m going again in 2 weeks to Gillette Stadium. Can’t wait!!!

Angus Young is the reason I play the guitar. The very first time I heard the song, “She’s got balls” I remember laughing like crazy and feeling like I was being mischievous just listening to the song. She’s got BALLS?? As a 9 year old kid, that stuff is solid gold. I had no idea what it meant but it was enough to make me a fan for life.

High Voltage was my first album, and I religiously bought every other album after that. My favorite has got to be ‘74 Jailbreak – the songs “Soul Stripper” and “You aint got a hold on me” are all time classic, incredible songs. My favorite songs are “Riff Raff”, “Live Wire” “What’s Next to the Moon” “Night Prowler” “Overdose”… I could go on & on; Angus has been my inspiration since childhood, he will always be the #1 greatest guitarist of all time to me. There are some who are technically better, but there is NO ONE who can match his soul, fire, and charisma. AC/DC FOREVER!!!!!

Well done article!

I have been an AC/DC fan for many many years and Angus has always been a special part of that band for me.

I love in the Donington show when they play the opening riff to Whole Lotta Rosie and the crowd shouts ‘Angus’ at each pause. Just proves how much of a part of the band he really is.

I worked sound for Hidden Image in 77′, while playing bass in another band. HI covered AC/DC then, and still today, the band is a top-draw hard-rocking track-selling machine.
